Our Story (The Short Version)

It all started about 10 years ago when our founder, Captain Mike (yes, he insists on being called Captain), bought his first kayak on a whim. One sunset paddle later, he was hooked. Soon he was dragging friends, family, and random strangers along for the ride.

Fast forward a few years, and what started as weekend adventures turned into a full-blown obsession, er, we mean business! Gulf Coast Kayak Adventures was born from a simple belief: everyone deserves to experience the magic of gliding across calm waters while dolphins play nearby and the sun sets in impossible colors.

Today, we're a team of certified guides who know these waters like the back of our hands (and trust us, we've looked at our hands A LOT while paddling). We're not a faceless corporation, we're your neighbors, your fellow beach-goers, and most importantly, your new kayaking buddies!
